Přečetl jsem si tvůj "komentář" (je fakt nutný dávat to do uvozovek? Dává to urážlivý tón celému zbytku textu) a musím s ním nesouhlasit. Dosud jsem se nesetkal s případem, kdy by zrovna toto tahalo jakkoli za uši, a to jsem literárně činný a moje tvorba se kolem dialogů točí velice často. Mohl bys prosím uvést nějaký příklad, kde by to působilo špatně? Možná kdyby byla spousta mluvčí (třeba celá mane6) co se najednou střídá v rozhovoru, ale i tam se to dá zvládnout s troškou vynalézavosti.
To, že něco dělají jiní autoři, znamená leda veliké houby. I oni dělají chyby. Ani já nejsem bezchybný, nicméně pokud mám na chatu 3 editory (všichni poměrně vážení v bronies komunitě i mezi autory fan-fiction obecně), kteří se na tomto shodují, pak na tom asi něco bude.
Pro jistotu (nebo snad abys viděl, že si nevymýšlím) připojím výňatek z anglické učebnice stylistiky 'The Elements of Style':
It is seldom advisable to tell all. Be sparing, for instance, in the use
of adverbs after "he said," "she replied," and the like: "he said consolingly";
"she replied grumblingly." Let the conversation itself disclose
the speaker's manner or condition. Dialogue heavily weighted with
adverbs after the attributive verb is cluttery and annoying.
Inexperienced writers not only overwork their adverbs but load their
attributes with explanatory verbs : "he consoled," "she congratulated."
They do this, apparently, in the belief that the word said is always in
need of support, or because they have been told to do it by experts in
the art of bad writing.
A na závěr dodatek: Napsat na konec útočného textu 'no offense' jen ukazuje, že ti příjemce nestojí za úsilí komentář přepsat do méně agresivní podoby. No offense.
